This guiding theme formed the focus of our recent event, “On-site at UX.” Together with Alexander W. Jonke, we took a deep dive into the strategic future of product development. The discussion was not about technical details, but rather about the “big picture” for decision-makers: What must a product strategy look like today to ensure that AI remains not merely a feature, but becomes a decisive competitive advantage?

Breaking Down Silos: Many smart product initiatives fail because they create new, isolated departments. True success is achieved only through the holistic integration of AI across the entire value chain.
Agentic AI as a Simplifier: While many AI applications introduce additional layers of complexity, the trend toward “Agentic AI” demonstrates how intelligent systems can make product and service architectures radically more efficient.
Outcome over Output: A successful product strategy is defined not by the number of AI features it possesses, but by the measurable benefit (outcome) it delivers to the user. This is becoming the decisive differentiator in the market.
Structural Decoupling: To remain agile, hardware, IoT, and AI layers must be structurally decoupled from one another. This is the only way to accelerate innovation cycles without having to modify the physical foundation every single time.
Vision 2026: The course for future viability is being set right now. By 2026, it will become clear which companies have successfully made the leap from device manufacturer to provider of intelligent solutions.
Artificial intelligence is far more than just a software update. It transforms the entire architecture, the business models, and the very way in which strategic decisions are made. The “AI Blueprint” presented by the U-Experten served as a navigational aid for this transformation—moving from pure hardware toward true, learning intelligence.
The evening made one thing clear: Technological feasibility is often not the bottleneck—it is strategic foresight. We are taking away many valuable insights on how to bridge the gap between hardware tradition and AI innovation.
A heartfelt thank you to Alexander W. Jonke for his valuable insights, and to all the participants for the lively exchange!

We would be delighted to discuss how the “AI Blueprint” can future-proof your product strategy as well.
